BOXXER Joins Forces with NBC Sports.

BOXXER has formed a significant partnership with NBC Sports, marking a major development for the company. This collaboration entails the addition of "multiple BOXXER events per year" to NBC Sports' premium sports programming offerings for the United States. The majority of these events will be available on the Peacock streaming service, starting with the WBA light heavyweight eliminator between Joshua Buatsi this Saturday. "Select events" will also be broadcast on NBC. This move draws parallels to the UFC's ESPN+/ESPN model, but without the need for pay-per-view. It's worth noting that the comparison between Peacock's ad-free subscription, priced at $12 per month, and FITE+'s $7.99 subscription is subjective. Furthermore, Peacock lacks content from NJPW. Personal preferences may influence your choice, as I allowed my subscription to lapse after the conclusion of Poker Face's first season. Ben Shalom, the Founder and CEO of BOXXER, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We're thrilled to unveil this groundbreaking collaboration with NBC Sports. This marks a pivotal moment for our company, allowing audiences throughout the United States to witness our star athletes in action throughout the year. NBC Sports, with its extensive daily reach to millions of fans, provides an exceptional platform for BOXXER and our elite roster. We eagerly anticipate launching this partnership with a spectacular event on October 21st, featuring Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez at The O2 in London." Gary Quinn, Vice President of Programming & Owned Properties at NBC Sports, also shared his excitement: "We're enthusiastic about bringing boxing back to NBC Sports and, with the sport's debut on Peacock, commencing a new chapter in NBC Sports' illustrious boxing history."
